The Warwick PGR Scholarship competition 2027 funds new doctoral students starting in October 2027. The Faculty Chancellors stream is open to applicants of any nationality or fee status.
Key dates (all 16:59 UK time)
- 7 December 2026 — submit your PhD course application
- 10 December 2026 — submit the scholarship application and documents
- 21 December 2026 — references due
- 5 March 2027 — offers released
Late submissions are not accepted. After your course application you'll get a 7-digit applicant ID by email (allow at least 48 hours) — register your ITS account early.

- Full academic fees (UK or international rate)
- Stipend at the UKRI rate for 3.5 years
- £5,000 Research Training and Support Grant
- Up to 8 weeks' annual leave, plus paid family and medical leave
- Support toward UK visa and immigration costs for eligible international applicants

- Current Warwick PGR students are not eligible
