Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship (2027 intake)

The Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship gives a 20% tuition fee reduction for your whole bachelor's degree at the University of Melbourne, one of Australia's top universities. From 2027 the university is increasing the number of awards to 225 a year.

This is a partial scholarship: you still need to pay 80% of the tuition fees and all your living costs, so combine it with other funding.

Who is eligible

• International students who are citizens of a country with a GDP per capita of US$10,000 or less (World Bank data). Cameroon and many other African countries currently fall under this limit; check the World Bank figure for your country.
• An offer of an Overseas Fee place in a University of Melbourne bachelor's degree
• No previous tertiary (university) study

How to apply There is no separate application. Apply for your bachelor's course, and you are assessed automatically when you receive an offer. Outcomes come within five working days of your course offer.
