About this opportunity
What it is
The African Union is taking 100 enterprises into the second cohort of the Enterprise Africa Network Fellowship, to help African MSMEs scale, trade across borders and create jobs. The programme starts in November 2026.
Who can apply
Enterprises from any of the 55 AU Member States that are:
- Formally registered as a business entity in an AU Member State
- Operating for at least two years
- Employing at least three full-time staff
Women-led and youth-led enterprises get priority. A minimum of 40% of places are reserved to keep the cohort spread across the five African regions and the small island states.

What fellows get
Fellows are placed in one of three tiers — Growth, Expansion or Scale-Ready — and receive twelve months of structured training across ten modules differentiated by sector and tier, mentorship through African Union partners, access to the African Trade Observatory and AfCFTA market intelligence tools, and participation in continental events.
There is no cash grant. What you get is training, mentorship and market access.
