uOttawa International English Scholarships (undergraduate)

The University of Ottawa gives international students large scholarships for English-language bachelor's degrees. It is a partial scholarship: it reduces your international tuition but does not cover all fees or living costs.

What you can get

• International English Admission Scholarship: $7,500 per term, up to $60,000 over a four-year degree, for an admission average of 80% or higher. It is automatic: every eligible student is considered and told at admission.
• International English Academic Excellence Scholarship: an extra $10,000 ($5,000 per term) for students with a 95%+ average. 100 awards a year, competitive.
• Together: up to $70,000.

Who is eligible

• International students with a valid study permit, paying international fees (Canadian dual citizens are not eligible)
• Full-time in an approved English-language undergraduate programme in Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences or the Telfer School of Management (not French immersion)

Deadline: rolling. There is no separate scholarship deadline: apply for admission to an eligible programme. Check uOttawa's international admission deadlines for Fall 2027.
