About this opportunity
The Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy takes a small group of undergraduates to Washington D.C. for five days of seminars on the health of democratic institutions, meetings with people who work inside them, and guided visits to the Capitol, the Supreme Court and other federal venues.
When. 2–6 January 2027.
Cost. CRCD describes the programme as fully funded for selected participants.
Who can apply. High-achieving undergraduates from any academic discipline who are aiming at careers in law, public service, policy or related fields.
A caution before you spend time on it. CRCD does not publish a citizenship or visa rule, and it does not say whether international travel is covered. If you would need a US visa, write to the programme contact (jbarr@firstliberty.org) and ask what is included before you apply — five days in January leaves very little room for a visa appointment.
What you send. The online form, a résumé, a cover letter, one letter of recommendation and a writing sample. CRCD asks that the cover letter and writing sample be your own work and not AI-generated.
Deadline. 13 November 2026, reviewed on a rolling basis — so earlier is better than on time.
