About the programme
The EMBL International PhD Programme trains PhD students at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, mainly in Heidelberg, Germany, with other sites in Hinxton (UK), Grenoble (France) and elsewhere. This is the 2027 Winter Recruitment.
Who can apply
- Students with (or finishing) a degree in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, molecular medicine, computer science, engineering or a related field
- All nationalities are welcome. Candidates from EMBL member states get priority only when equally qualified.
What's covered
A 3.5-year predoctoral fellowship with an internationally competitive stipend, health care and pension. EMBL does not charge a fee at any stage.
