TU Delft's flagship scholarship for international students entering a two-year MSc programme, named after Justus and Louise van Effen.
What it covers
- Full tuition fees per year for a TU Delft MSc programme
- A contribution towards living expenses, the amount set by your registered nationality
Who can apply
Excellent international applicants — conditionally or fully admitted — to a two-year TU Delft master's, with academic results typically in the top 10% of their previous programme.
You cannot apply if you are a TU Delft bachelor's student, if you earned your bachelor's at a Dutch university, if you have already started your MSc, or if you are applying to an International Joint Education Programme.
How to apply
Everything is submitted together with your MSc application: the application itself, the scholarship application form, two reference letters and an English certificate if one is required. Awards are announced by the end of March 2027, conditional on meeting the admission criteria.
