About this opportunity
The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship (LExS) helps excellent international students pay for a Master's at Leiden, the Netherlands' oldest university.
What you get A reduction on your tuition fee at one of five levels: €10,000, €15,000, €17,500, €18,500 or €19,000. This is not a full scholarship. It does not cover living costs, so you will need other funding for the rest.
Who can apply
- Students with a non-EEA/non-EFTA passport who are not eligible for Dutch government student finance (Cameroonian students qualify)
- Applying to a Leiden Master's programme
- Strong academic record (awarded on excellence)
How to apply
- Submit your online admission application for a Leiden Master's programme
- Open the Scholarships section of your application portal
- Upload a motivation letter (PDF, max 500 words) before the deadline
